BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE JUNE 9, 2004 MINUTES

Telephone communication: e-mail addresses are being submitted to Francois slowly, & there are some members that do not have computers.
Website: Claude presented it to us page by page on a screen. Additions & deletions were made & questions were answered. It was decided the Minutes & agenda of our meetings should be published, hoping to get interested members out & to keep them informed. The site has to be kept up to date & important information should be e-mailed to the members to advise them of our new website.
Lapel pins: samples of pins were shown & the majority decided that a 1 1/4 inch pin would be the best. June to get further information & report at next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

Social evening: discussion on this & a suggestion that John & June Edward show pictures with a short resume of their Arctic trip to Greenland & Baffin Island. This to be decided.
Weather course: Francois & John Bright would like to get the members interested in taking this. Claude suggested putting the information on the website & informing all via e-mail. This will be looked into.
Other: Chuck suggested we settle on one night for our meetings, this to be decided later.
